Bureau Finds Mortgage Servicing Problems at Banks, Nonbanks

Warren Queries DOJ Over ‘Timid’ FHA Settlement

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-MA, is asking the Department of Justice to explain why it failed to get “adequate” compensation from major mortgage servicers for fraud committed against the FHA. FHA Waives Waiting Period for Stained Borrowers

The FHA is easing the waiting period and eligibility criteria for certain borrowers with previous bankruptcies, foreclosures, deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure and short sales who would like to purchase a home again.
