Securitization of non-mortgage assets dropped sharply in the third quarter of 2004, as production volume weakened in all the major asset categories, a new Inside MBS & ABS analysis reveals. A total of $60.82 billion of non-mortgage ABS were issued during the third quarter, down 19.2 percent from the previous period.
