Court Decision Limits OFHEO’s Power over GSEs A federal trial court has ruled that the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight must allow Freddie Mac to pay its former chief executive more than $60 million in compensation, despite an ongoing investigation into possible wrongdoing by the deposed CEO. The regulatory agency asked the court to postpone the enforcement of its ruling until a federal appeals court can hear OFHEO’s appeal, but U.S. District Court Judge Richard
