The Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee has approved via voice vote President Bush’s nomination of Geoffrey Bacino, a former credit union official and regulator, as a director on the Federal Housing Finance Board. The nomination now goes to the full Senate, where approval is expected before Congress takes its August recess.
