Bond insurers have seen their presence in the home-equity market diminish in recent years – and the prospects for a rebound in the months ahead don’t appear particularly good, a new report by Moody’s Investors Service suggests. “The outlook for the sector beyond the current period of economic uncertainty, which may benefit the guarantors, is one of limited growth,” the rating agency said.
