The Federal Home Loan Bank System as well as the mortgage securities market is anxiously awaiting the issuance of the first MBS backed by Mortgage Partnership Finance program loans. And while the first Shared Funding Program MBS offering is expected very soon, relatively little is still known about the structure of the new security and exactly how it will work.
