With little fanfare and virtually no reaction from GSE critics, the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight last month finalized three more proposed amendments to Fannie Mae’s and Freddie’s risk-based capital regulation that were first unveiled back in September. The latest changes represent OFHEO’s ongoing attempts to make “technical and corrective” amendments to the final RBC rule published back in September of 2001 that went into effect this past fall.
