There are new reports that Armando Falcon’s days may be numbered as head of the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight. The American Banker reported late last week that former JP Morgan Chase Managing Director Mark Brickell is the frontrunner to replace Falcon as director of OFHEO. Brickell is considered an expert in risk-assessment and derivatives and currently serves as CEO of Blackbird Holdings, a firm that trades derivatives over the Internet.
