It isn’t often that a new technology company can command instant respect and shape thought on a number of industry issues, but Overture Technologies can and does. That is because of Fannie Mae veteran Bill Kelvie, who founded the Bethesda, MD-based company in 2000. As the mortgage giant’s chief information officer, Kelvie is credited with overseeing Fannie’s development of over 300 software and technology applications, including Desktop Underwriter and its prized credit scoring system.
