Tuckerton, NJ-based Superior Mortgage Corp. is settling Federal Trade Commission charges it failed to secure consumer information and then tried to cover up its gaping security blunders. Among the charges settled was that the lender told regulators that it encrypted sensitive data submitted by borrowers online, but actually did not.
