Freddie Mac officials told investors this week that they are not looking to take advantage of the troubles besetting rival Fannie Mae, but they do expect to garner a larger share of the mortgage market in 2005 by bolstering their product line and improving their customer relations. “We are focusing a significant amount of our attention on customer [needs] and mission [activities],” said Freddie Mac President and COO Eugene McQuade during a conference call with
