Countrywide Financial has put together more than 300 joint mortgage lending ventures with realtors, homebuilders and other third parties that help consumers find mortgage financing. The giant lender has been in the strategic affiliations business for over a decade and just two and half years ago launched a specific program to develop joint ventures.
