Genworth Financial, Inc. is attempting to combine its mortgage technology platform and its contract underwriting capabilities in a new product called Underwrite Express. The new service integrates AU Central, the company’s automated underwriting engine, with Doc Central, its online “paperless mortgage” platform for creating and sharing loan documents, in an effort to reduce underwriting cycle time and improve efficiency for users.
