Ginnie Mae issuers will need to upgrade their software to remain compliant with new pooling requirements in the GNMA II program. In APM 03-13, the agency said GNMA II issuers and document custodians are required to use the newly released GinnieNet 5.8 software for pools with an issue date of July 1 or later. Prior versions of GinnieNet will not work for those pools, the agency said.
