Pedestal Inc., which once dominated the Internet mortgage-lending scene with promises of delivering mortgages, loan pools and servicing rights over the Internet, is reportedly at the end of its rope. Sources said the company is down to about 10 employees and is looking for a buyer. The company had about 40 employees as late as last month. At its height, Pedestal had some 120 employees.
