The world of the paperless mortgage is a reality, but aside from a few loans done and others in pilots with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, there aren’t that many completely paperless mortgages being produced currently. What is increasingly being done across the country is a combination of the traditional mortgage process and electronic loans, something called a hybrid mortgage.
