Four mortgage lenders earned the dubious distinction of being among the first group of businesses cited by the Federal Communications Commission for violating its National Do Not Call Registry. The citations not only put the lenders in hot water with federal regulators, they also expose the firms to the risk of hefty fines for future offenses.
