Seeking to further advance President Bush’s housing agenda, the Department of Housing and Urban Development has asked Congress for more money in FY 2005 to create new housing opportunities and affordable housing for minority and low-income families and individuals, including two new mortgage programs for which HUD will seek congressional approval.
