Two major trade groups are at odds over a compensation scheme for real estate agents in guaranteed mortgage packaging have met separately with the Office of Management and Budget in the last few weeks to try to make sure that the controversial new rule actually does level the playing field for all packaging participants and simplify the mortgage process for consumers.
