The Mortgage Bankers Association has snagged Ken Markison, currently the country’s top expert on Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act reform. June 16 was Markison’s last day at the Department of Housing and Urban Development as assistant general counsel. He is now the MBA’s regulatory counsel and senior director for government affairs.
