Richard Riese, former compliance director of the Office of Thrift Supervision, has joined the American Bankers Association as senior compliance counsel. At OTS, Riese directed the agency’s consumer compliance policy and examination standards. He also led development of OTS’ system for compliance risk management, which is a model for lenders implementing their own compliance programs.
