The Department of the Treasury is seeking public comment on a number of privacy issues in connection with a study mandated by the privacy provisions of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999. The study is a joint effort by Treasury, the Federal Trade Commission and other federal agencies overseeing the financing, securities and commodities industries.
