The Department of Housing and Urban Development has withdrawn four crucial issues relating to the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act from its slate of top priority issues to deal with during the first half of 2001. The RESPA projects were missing from HUD’s first semiannual regulatory agenda published last week, which immediately raised concerns about the continuing uncertainties regarding RESPA.
