Compliance experts are warning settlement service providers of new trends in class action litigation, where the battle has shifted from federal to state courts across the country. Plaintiff attorneys are now looking at violations of the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act and the Truth in Lending Act as possible violations of state law.
