Mortgage lenders and brokers in Georgia are preparing early for another round of predatory lending battles next year in the state legislature after succeeding in killing legislation that would curb abusive lending practices. Predatory lending legislation that included a controversial yield-spread premium provision died after the Georgia House of Representatives adjourned without acting on the measure.
