S&P Comfortable with Decision to Approve Radian’s Alternative Title Insurance Product Standard & Poor’s said it saw no problem approving a new title insurance alternative product launched by Radian Guaranty, Inc. despite misgivings by state insurance regulators and major players in the secondary mortgage market. The rating agency gave the green light this week to "Radian Lien Protection" to be used in lieu of traditional title insurance on first- and second-mortgage refinance and jumbo loans
