S&P Tool Evaluates Credit Quality for Nonconforming Loan Application Standard & Poor’s has released a new analytical tool to help nonconforming mortgage lenders and securitizers analyze loan attributes and the credit quality of the applicant. The Documentation and Collateral Scoring System assigns alternative document and collateral requirements in accordance with S&P’s ratings criteria. DACSS is expected to significantly speed up the mortgage approval process and cut costs for the lender, rating agency officials said.
