The GSE mortgage business continued to be concentrated among a relatively small handful of large lenders in early 2004, and nowhere was that concentration more apparent than at Freddie Mac. During the first quarter, Freddie saw the share of its business coming from its top 10 customers soar to over 90 percent for the first time.
