The latest minority lending results are just in, and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac once again seem to have earned the lowest grades found in the mortgage market class. According to just-released Home Mortgage Disclosure Act numbers, the two GSEs had the lowest share of their business going to African-American and Hispanics in 2001 when compared to all other kinds of mortgage purchasers such as Ginnie Mae, banks and private conduits.
