Looking to take the lead in GSE disclosures and accounting practices, Freddie Mac last week began expensing stock options in its quarterly financial reports. The GSE’s second quarter earnings included just under $4 million in reported expenses associated with the awarding of stock options to senior executives. This represented less than one cent per diluted common share, Freddie Mac reported.
