Freddie Mac wants to shore up its management team with a new high-profile executive vice president of finance. Freddie Mac officials said the new position, announced last month, will provide more “bench strength” for GSE President and Vice Chairman David Glenn. “He felt that he needed a very senior-level executive on the financial side,” a Freddie spokesperson told Inside The GSEs.
