B&C News Briefs ÆThe House Financial Services Committee last week approved legislation that would reauthorize the national standards created by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. But lenders weren’t terribly happy with the result. Specifically, the version of H.R. 2622 that passed out of committee by a 61-3 vote includes language that would require mortgage lenders to disclose credit scores to consumers, with an explanation of the key factors used in calculating the score.
