B&C Servicers Kept Busy With Replenishment in 2002 Despite a busy origination year, subprime servicers had a hard time growing their portfolios in 2002, a new Inside B&C Lending analysis reveals. The analysis looked at 17 lenders who service at least part of their mortgage production. As a group, those companies generated $144.92 billion in loans last year, a total equal to 52.2 percent of their combined $277.67 billion in outstanding servicing.
