Solutions to the problem of predatory lending – and the patchwork of state and local laws that have sprung up to address it – remain hard to come by. That was the message delivered by panelists at last week’s American Enterprise Conference on subprime lending. The conservative think tank called the conference to discuss the impact of predatory lending legislation on credit availability.
