Household Finance has announced a new best practices slate that it says will raise the bar for the industry. But almost before the ink was dry on the press release, some consumer groups were already saying the company hadn’t gone far enough. “We’re always trying to be sensitive to changes in the marketplace,” a Household spokesman told Inside B&C Lending last week when asked about the timing of the
