Serious B&C Delinquencies Notch Upward in September Serious delinquencies continued to rise during the third quarter, with loans in the Midwest faring particularly poorly. According to data from research firm LoanPerformance, formerly known as the Mortgage Information Corp., some 7.26 percent of subprime loans nationwide were at least 90 days past due at the end of September. That marked a sizable jump from June’s 6.55 percent rate. In fact, September’s rate was the highest in
