Implementing the criteria proposed in Title XIV of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act will significantly impact operations, technology, products and basic strategies employed by mortgage loan originators and servicers, according to a recent analysis by accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers. While the changes under Title XIV (the Mortgage Reform and Anti-Predatory Lending Act) may be difficult to implement, PWC believes originators and servicers could gain positional advantages as a result. Nevertheless, the swift
