Several large subprime lenders have received notices from the Department of Justice as part of a probe into potentially discriminatory pricing practices. Shortly before Thanksgiving, an undetermined number of mortgage lenders received notice from the DOJ to submit loan documents related to their 2004 Home Mortgage Disclosure Act results as well as mortgages originated as far back as 2001.
