Reverse mortgage lenders will be able to make substantially bigger loans next year, thanks to a sharp rise in loan ceilings in both the government-insured and conventional sectors. But as 2005 dwindled to a close, lenders still awaited word on their top priority – Congressional approval to make more loans.
