Industry executives gathered at this week’s annual convention of the Mortgage Bankers Association were advised that recent court decisions should greatly improve the industry’s ability to combat fraud through information sharing. “MBA members are increasingly concerned about fraud because it betrays the confidence that we rely on,” said John Robbins, chairman and CEO of American Mortgage Network. “It’s enormous in its scope and getting more sophisticated as we speak,” he said.
