Larger thrifts continue to outpace smaller ones in their ability to harness the power of online lending, according to a new survey by America’s Community Bankers. Among survey respondents, more than 90 percent of community banks with assets in excess of $500 million provide general mortgage-related information online to their customers, while fewer than half of those with assets of $100 million or less offer such information.
