The Federal Trade Commission and the Federal Reserve Board are at odds over the timing of risk-based pricing notices to borrowers, further delaying the issuance of a regulation that would implement a notification provision under the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act. The risk-based notice provision was slated to kick in on Dec. 1 along with five other provisions, but regulators deferred compliance until regulations with effective dates are finalized.
