California. A.B. 2014 has been signed into law on Aug. 27 repealing the state Home Loan Mortgage Act. The act was aimed at creating secondary market facilities for home mortgages and authorizing those facilities to provide assistance. The bill also amends laws that pertain to credit union audit reports and loan-loss allowances.
