The Federal Trade Commission has approved a supplemental regulatory analysis of its proposed rule concerning the disposal of sensitive consumer report information by financial institutions. But it is also seeking further comment on the rule, which will implement the provisions of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003.
