The president and chief operating officer of E-Loan resigned on Thursday as the Internet lender reported fourth-quarter earnings plunged and its stock dipped by as much as 20 percent. The company said it accepted the resignation of Joe Kennedy effective immediately, and named Mark Lefanowicz, a company board member for 16 months, as the new chief operating officer.
