The dot-com meltdown has taught some valuable lessons about the potential of Internet commerce, technology experts told lenders at a recent gathering of subprime lenders. But for companies that use the web the right way, profit potential still exists. "There are too many of you out there [on the Internet]. Customers don’t know how to find you, and when they do find you, they don’t trust you," said Terry Rowland, executive vice president of marketing
