MGIC Reports Success in Technology Venture As mortgage insurance companies and other firms find mixed results in their technology ventures, Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corp. claims it is making headway in creating additional customer value. MGIC’s vertical business-to-business portal for the mortgage industry, eMagic.com, announced that it has surpassed its growth goal for 2000. The company’s goal was to more than double the 14,000 transactions done by its predecessor Magic Carpet in 1999. With
