Lenders that sell mortgage servicing rights may be able to improve their profit margins slightly with an interim servicing feature that’s been added to the loan origination system developed by Mortgage Builder Software, Inc., an LOS software provider. The new feature automates loan maintenance and improves operational efficiencies by allowing lenders to track and post borrowers’ loan payments on a temporary basis, without having to use a separate servicing platform.
