Those community banks that need a little push in a more competitive, post-refinance environment can now look to a new program that will help them process and fund more mortgages without increasing staff or other resources. Freddie Mac teamed up with the Financial Institutions Group of InterFirst Wholesale Mortgage Lending, a division of ABN AMRO, to create InterFirstlink, a program that provides mortgage fulfillment services for small- to medium-sized thrifts.
