In the midst of a slowing refi market, GMAC Mortgage has shifted gears and is seeking out business in the home-purchase market by opening up its product line to homebuilders. The lender unveiled a new program, BuilderPower, designed to pair loan officers with homebuilders to offer borrowers “unique” financing options.
